Wow Nature Cycling Invite: Bronte Creek Provincial Park

Is hiking too slow, leaving you with not enough scenery to enjoy? Is driving too fast making parking inconvenient and causing you to miss out on beautiful views? Why not try cycling instead? It’s just right—you can speed along wide roads or navigate through forest trails. Wow Nature invites you to cycle at Bronte Creek Provincial Park and fully appreciate the autumn beauty.

Join us for a cycling adventure together!

  • Event Time: October 19,  Saturday, 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM
  • Event Location: Bronte Creek Provincial Park and surrounding roads.
  • Event Fee:
    • Free for members (Note: Memberships registered in 2023 are valid until December 31, 2024)
    • Non-members: $10/person, $20/family (e-transfer: [email protected])

  • Age Requirement: 12-60 years old.  Minors under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

  • Hiking Distance: Approximately 24 kilometers
  • Activity difficulty: Some sections involve ascents and descents, with trails through the forest, rated as moderate.  
  • Outdoor Wear Requirements:                                     
  • 1.Cycling clothing should have moisture-wicking, abrasion-resistant, and durable features. The fabric should be comfortable, and the fit should be snug to avoid being too loose. Pants should be tapered at the ankles to prevent them from getting caught in the wheels.                             
  • 2.It is recommended to wear gloves.                            
  • 3.Riders must wear an approved helmet. For safety reasons, those without a helmet will be denied participation in the event.

Participants need to read Ontario Cycling Traffic Rules
